Fightful Select has an update on why New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) hasn’t held any events in the US as of late, with the company only having three trips in the US this year and only six shows last year, not including the shows that New Japan co-promoted. That’s down from the eight NJPW shows in the US in 2023.

According to the report, declining attendance, along with wrestlers on the NJPW not wanting to make the trip overseas, has led to scaling back of NJPW events in the United States.

The last NJPW show in the US was Battle in the Valley, held in Ontario, California, last May.
