Bill Goldberg to Appear on ABC’s The Goldbergs

According to PWinsider.com, Bill Goldberg will be appearing on an episode of The Goldbergs. The episode will be filming shortly. Goldberg took part in a table read of the script this week for the episode.

Adam Goldberg (creator of The Goldbergs) grew up a big pro wrestling fan. In 2014, the series featured a pro wrestling-themed episode where the family’s oldest son Barry wanted to join the school wrestling team, believing he could succeed because he knew all of the moves due to watching pro wrestling. The episode featured references to a steel cage match, Hulk Hogan, The Iron Sheik, Jimmy Snuka, George Steele and more. It was dedicated to The Ultimate Warrior as it aired shortly after his passing.
