Blake Monroe Reveals She Will Appear At NXT Deadline

Reigning NXT Women’s North American Champion Blake Monroe may not be scheduled for a match at tonight’s Deadline, but that’s not going to stop her from making her presence felt.

Hours before the premium live event, The Glamour confirmed on X that she would make an appearance tonight. Monroe shared a video on her social media account in which she noted how she is at the front and center of the promotional poster for Deadline and is still not booked for a match at the show.

She took shots at General Manager Ava and then revealed that, despite the on-screen authority figure dropping the ball on her, she would be in attendance at Deadline. Monroe then mentioned the competitors in tonight’s Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge, seemingly teasing her interference in the matchup.

“This right here, this is the problem. Who is that front and center? Of course, it’s your glamorous North American Women’s Champion, Blake Monroe. Because why wouldn’t she be front and central? We do have tickets to sell. But guess what? Guess who is not on Deadline. Oh yeah, Blake Monroe. Because once again, our GM, our mayor, Ava, dropped the ball. But it is the season of giving, and because I would love to give, I’ve decided to fly myself to San Antonio, and I will be making an appearance tonight. And I mean, what a night it’s gonna be. The Women’s Iron Survivor. We have the Juggernaut Jordynne Grace, we have a titleless Sol Ruca, we have Grey Graps from Miss Kendal Grey, and so much more. You know that division really is stacked,” she said.

The 2025 Women’s Iron Survivor Challenge will see Jordynne Grace, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, Kendal Grey, and Kelani Jordan battle to earn a shot at the NXT Women’s Championship. It will be interesting to see if Blake Monroe shows up during the contest.
