AEW star Bobby Lashley has been absent from weekly programming since the Full Gear pay-per-view last November. At the event, Lashley competed in the Casino Gauntlet Match that was held to determine the inaugural AEW National Champion. Ricochet eventually ended up winning that match.

In December 2025, Hurt Syndicate manager MVP announced on AEW TV that Bobby Lashley was dealing with an injury. In a recent conversation with Monopoly Sports, The Almighty revealed that he’s healed now and is ready to go after the AEW World Trios Championship alongside Shelton Benjamin and MVP once he returns to television. Hangman Page, Kevin Knight, and “Speedball” Mike Bailey are the reigning World Trios Champions.

“When we get back, between Shelton and MVP, we want to do things collectively and want to do things as a group. I think we’re going to go after the trios guys. Let’s see what we can do with those guys. That’s what we need. The crowd loves us over there. We have the opportunity to bring back what we had before, and it’s real. We have a great group, and we’re all friends and pull for each other. Anytime one of us is done, the other pulls them up. Right now, they are pulling me up and yanking me back in. ‘We’re ready to go back out there and win some titles.’ I’m healed. Everybody thought I was hurt. I’m not hurt. You can’t hurt the Almighty,” Lashley said.
