Brett Lauderdale Says Jon Moxley Is Still GCW World Champion & Will Remain So

Brett Lauderdale has confirmed that Jon Moxley is still GCW World Champion, and that won’t change until he loses the title. According to Fightful, the GCW owner said during a Twitter Spaces session that Moxley will not be stripped of the title during his hiatus and will remain champion until he loses it to another wrestler.

Moxley has been on hiatus since early November when he checked himself into an inpatient alcohol treatment program. He has been GCW World Champion since he defeated Matt Cardone on September 4th at GCW The Art of War Games for the title.
