Bron Breakker Talks About ‘Bron Cam’ Used On WWE RAW, His Speed

In an interview with The Masked Man Show (via Fightful), Bron Breakker spoke about WWE’s use of the ‘Bron cam’, which has captured his speed when he runs during his matches.

He said: “I want to say I did a dark match one time, and I’m not sure when this was, but it was a year ago or so. I came up to Raw, and I did Main Event or a dark match or something, and I was just like, you know what, I’ve been trying to figure out how to incorporate the Steiner Line into my arsenal to make it a regular thing. I hadn’t quite figured it out yet, I’d done it a couple different ways, and I’m like, man, this ain’t working, it’s not the same. Because my dad used to rip people’s head off with it, and I wanted it to be my own thing. I didn’t want to just straight up take his deal. So I was like, maybe I’ll just run the ropes twice tonight, and I’ll just run as fast as I can, and then I’ll just put it at the end of that, and we’ll see what happens. I ran the ropes, I did the clothesline, crowd came up for it. Later that night, after I was done, a gentleman working in the truck and he came over to me, he came out of the truck and he said, ‘That was the fastest I’ve ever seen anybody run, and I’ve been working here for over 20 years. You need to do that every night.’ I was like, okay. He was like, ‘We have a gauge in the truck, it tells us speed and stuff, and there’s a bunch of different gauges and stuff that they have up there, and he was like, it was over 23 miles an hour. I was like, ‘Whoa.’ So that’s kind of where that started.“
