Ciocco’s AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday Review 10.07.25

SICKOS! It’s Wednesday, you know what that means! AEW Dynamite is live from…

I’m sorry, my producer has just handed me a note off from the side. Give me a minute.

Proceeds to read note.

Okay, so apparently, it’s Tuesday, and because of that I do NOT know what that means.

But in all seriousness, tonight is a special edition of Dynamite known as Title Tuesday, and we’re back home in Daily’s Place, the haunts of the company during the height of Covid.

So, you would think with a name like title Tuesday, we will have title matches on the show. And rest assured, we will, in fact, have some of those here. In the best rivalry bar none in company history, Kyle Fletcher will defend the TNT Title against Kyle O’Reilly, and Mercedes Mone will defend her TBS Title in an open challenge against a competitor from the state of Florida.

However, it is not just about title matches, as Jon Moxley will face BIG TOM, Orange Cassidy will go one-on-one with the Bastard PAC, and the Jurassic Express will make their reunion official, as they will be in action. We’ll also have a “Double Jeopardy” tag team match, pitting the AEW World Tag Team Champions against Konosuke Takeshita and Kazuchika Okada, and The Hurt Syndicate will get their wish, as they will face The Demand. The AEW Men’s Heavyweight Champion Hangman Adam Page will come face-to-face with his challenger for Wrestle Dream, Samoa Joa, and as always, so much more is in store for us tonight!

Speaking of Wrestle Dream, the show is set to take place a week from this Saturday in St. Louis! And as such, this is just a friendly reminder for my colleagues at the roundtable to get predictions to me now later than the Thursday before the PPV. I want to thank the five guys who will be partaking in this adventure as well to make this community that much more awesome.

Also, no, there are no sports related things I want to shoutout, except for the Flyers season starting this Thursday, so shut up!

Holy ShidaImage Credit: FTR – Follow the Revolution on Facebook. HOLY SHIDA! Not only is Hikaru going to be back, but she has a new deal in place to stay in AEW! What a glorious day, indeed!

We are back where it all (kind of) started in Daily’s Place, Jacksonville, Florida! The Man Behind the Mask, Excalibur, the man who knows every suplex, Taz, and the man who flies like a dragon, Bryan Danielson are on the call tonight!

The Inevitable Tony Schiavone is in the middle of the ring as we hit the air! It’s great to be home in Jacksonville, he says. Coming up in one week from Saturday, it will be Wrestle Dream, and the World Title will be decided! We are starting off tonight with the face-to-face between Champion and Challenger!

Tony introduces the Champion first, as Arilyn’s Husband is here. He shakes hands with Tony and paces the ring and does a Raven pose (kind of)

Tony says what a battle it will be a week from Saturday! He introduces Joe as the former champion, but he doesn’t say Samoooooooooooooooooooooooa like Justin does, so his life should be fine lol.

Joe comes out in a business suit, he hands his title belt to Powerhouse Hobbs, and he shakes hands with Hobbs and Shibata before leaving. Joe enters the ring.

Tony says they have agreed to no physicality. The champion will talk first.

There has been six years of Dynamite across the US, around the world, and most importantly, here at Daily’s Place, says Hangman. He has won, he has lost, he committed arson, he dressed up as the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man, and he may have been proposed to. But he has never been more confused than he was last week. He agreed to team up with The Opps against the Death Riders, a group he had left behind. But after the match, you kicked, you screamed, and you sucker punched me. Damn, Page is confused. But not for long, because Joe yelled at him. “You’ve never beaten me”. You looked at me holding the title, and you knew you wanted the title again. Let’s face it, this title means everything in this business, and you want it back. You’ve been distracted by the Death Riders, and you have lost your way. He didn’t give him a chance because he kicked and screamed. He owed him. At All-In, you and a dozen or so people stepped in, put your bodies on the line, and made sure that I was able to get a fair fight with Moxley. And I thank you for that. And I understand without help like that, I couldn’t have won this, no one could have. Buy my gratitude for that stops here. You have a chance at Wrestle Dream, but Joe, I will not let you take this from me.

Joe says that everything Page has said is absolutely true. But, since we are talking about uncomfortable truths, let him share some of his own. His problem is that Page is the champion, but he doesn’t see him as the pinnacle of professional wrestling. Because you are right, the Opps helped you when you needed it, and without us, you wouldn’t have won the title. You’re right, Joe forgot who he was, because he was so hellbent on getting after the Death Riders, but he doesn’t see Hangman as his champion. He has seen it before; Page is padding his stats by telling someone to get ready and to face him in ten minutes. He sees Page as a fraud, and he is here to check him. He is going to beat him at Wrestle Dream. You will get some licks in, but he will dominate you, and at that moment when you think you have a chance, Joe will choke him out. And when you wake up, you will learn exactly who you are, you will learn your place, and the World will have a rightful World Champion!

I am a fraud, I am not a champion, I am a pretender, ponders Page. Why does he always have to prove to tough guys like you that the proof is when the bell rings. You will beat his ass a bit at Wrestle Dream, but at the end of it, Page is going to beat your ass. Every second, every minute that passes, he has the advantage, because you cannot outlast me. And when the bell rings, and when the fight is over, he hopes that Joe brings that same passion and energy that he did at All-In. He hopes he can look him in the eye, shake his hand, and acknowledge that I am the champion of the world!

Page drops the mic and exits the ring. Joe remains in the ring as he ponders this.

Earlier today, Mrs. MJF had the Conglomeration. Mark Briscoe wants to talk, and he says not only is tonight a great night for the group, but Willow is going to win on Collision this weekend. We’re also getting Kyle versus Kyle again for the TNT Title.

O’Reilly says the fans better chant for Kyle, because if he hears one more, WE WANT KYLE chant, he is going to lose it.

Roddy: KYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYLE!

Mark says that the Godfather of the Conglomeration, Orange Cassidy, is back. And tonight, Big Tom is going to defeat Moxley, in fact, he’s going to get that win right now! He wants everyone to put their hands in, including Alicia but not Strong, and everyone says CONGLOMORATE!

Everyone leaves except for Cassidy, who casually talks with Alicia before saying, “Well, Bye”.

Moxley makes his entrance through his adoring fans.

Jon Moxley vs. Tomohiro Ishii

The bell rings, as both men come face-to-face. Moxley thinks his height advantage will intimidate Ishii, but he won’t have it. A forearm battle breaks out, as Ishii has the advantage, but Moxley lands a knee. That only pisses the Stone Pitbull off, as he flattens Moxley with a running shoulder tackle. Jon bails to the floor, as Big Tom gives chase. A chop battle ensues on the floor, as Moxley rakes the back of Ishii. I mean, maybe he thought he had an itch lol. Moxley shoves Ishii head-first into the ring post, but that doesn’t hurt. I mean, have you seen that man’s head? Ishii shoves Moxley into the ring post shoulder first. He returns Moxley to the ring, but this allows Marina the chance to jump up on the apron and rake the eyes of Ishii. Moxley kicks Ishii off the apron and to the floor as we head to break.

Moxley has Ishii in the figure-four as we return from break. Ishii gets to the ropes, and he breaks the hold, as Jon uses his full count before releasing it. It looked like Marina handed Jon something, but I’m not quite sure what that was. Moxley kicks Ishii around the ring, but he may have wasted his time, as Ishii is back on his feet like nothing happened lol. Ishii absorbs the forearms with his head and drops Moxley on his head. Ishii is busted open the hard way as Ishii launches Moxley onto his head. Moxley baits in Ishii, however, and punches the head of Ishii in the corner.

(I mean, he no sold hitting the ring post with his head, how can punches hurt him)?

Ishii turns it into a powerbomb for a two count. Ishii stops Moxley’s follow-up with a standing headbutt and a big lariat! The cover for a two count. Brain Buster, Moxley gets out and hits a big boot, which Ishii no sells. Ishii with a lariat that Moxley no sells, before both men hit each other with a knee strike.

Moxley to his feet first, he charges Ishii, who fights off his initial attack, but Moxley hits a Cutter from Outta Nowhere for a two count! The censor is hard at work, as Moxley said something naughty lol. Stalling Piledriver, but Ishii no sells that, too! Moxley stomps Ishii face first into the mat! The cover, two count. Moxley falls victim to the sliding lariat, which Ishii turns right into a grounded headlock. Ishii goes for the eyes of Moxley! Ishii back up, Moxley with a release German, but AGAIN Ishii no sells it, but he will sell the Paradigm Shift! Moxley only gets a two count, as he goes for the body vine sleeper hold. Ishii gives it up.
WINNER: Jon Moxley
TIME: 12:40
THOUGHTS: Moxley was the obvious winner, given that he is having another match with Darby at Wrestle Dream, but boy, did this 12:40 feel like a 22:40, and not in a good way. Glacial pace met with rampant no-selling and the usual Moxley assistance from someone else in the Death Riders. Not a good start.
RATING: **1/2

Earlier today, The Young Bucks are seen knocking at the door of Tony Khan, as Le Remarkable Renee Paquette wants a word with them. She says they should be concerned about Jurassic Express laying them out. Nick says they know that, and they got tickets to watch it. He casually mentions that he sold some of their shoes to buy the tickets, and Matt losses his mind and proceeds to keep pounding on the door.

COMMERCIALS!

Video package, as narrated by Renee, for the Toni Storm and Kris Statlander Women’s World Title Match next Saturday. She’s really good at this stuff.

From a video package to this past week on Collision, as we saw the Triangle of Madness attack both Kris and Toni. As a result, this Saturday, we’re getting Statlander, Storm, and Harley Cameron teaming up to face the TOM! Noice!

AH-HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Street Fight: The Hurt Syndicate vs. The Demand

The Demand litter the ring with weapons, and Shelton and Bobby do not look dressed for a Street Fight lol. Everyone attacks everyone, as Lashley and Liona end up in the ring. Toa hits a Samoan Drop on Bobby. Toa grabs a kendo stick only to break it over his head, but his charge misses Bobby, and he spills out of the ring. Shelton does his barricade to ring apron spot on Kaun, as MVP and Ricky are in the ring. Ricky talks that mad smack to MVP, he grabs him by the throat, but Ricky kicks him in the ding-ding.

The GOA are back as they stomp on MVP. Lashley and Benjamin are back, as they mash with the GOA. MVP finds Ricky hiding behind a table set up against the barricade and pulls him out from behind it lol. Kaun smacks Benjmain with a kendo stick, but he reverses it in the ring by slamming Kaun onto a chair. MVP hits a snap suplex on Ricky on the apron, and he stops Kaun from beating up on Shelton. RICKY FLIES OFF THE WALL AND WIPES OUT EVERYONE ON THE FLOOR! He screams in agony as we take a commercial break!

Lashley attempts to murder Liona with a chair at the ring post as we return. Luckily, he misses, as Kaun dropkicks both Shelton and MVP in the ring. For good measure, he dropkicks Lashley off the apron as well. He then proceeds to fly over the top and onto Lashley. Kaun with a scoop slam in the ring to Benjamin. Kaun to the floor, as both Ricky and him try to throw Lashley into the table, but Lashley hits both of them with a clothesline. Liona attacks him from behind. Lashley turns the tables (no pun intended), but Kaun throws a chair into his face as he tried to spear Liona through the table. GOA put Lashley through the table! There is another table at ring side, as all three members set him up on the table. Kaun does the running Cactus Jack elbow through Lashley and through the table. Meanwhile, Liona takes MVP through the barricade with a spear!

Well, shit.

Back in the ring, Ricky hits a knee strike to Shelton, getting him a two count. Another table appears in the ring. The GOA set Shelton up on the table. Ricky from the top with a 450 Slash but…

I AM THE TABLE! DUN DUN!

Never mind, though, as MVP is back, but he gets slammed through Shelton and the table, as the table finally goes boom. Shelton is back to life, hitting a knee strike to Liona and a drop kick to Kaun. That leaves Ricky alone in the ring, as he unleashes so many kicks that Mike Bailey would be jealous. Kaun is back, and he helps Ricky set up the table in the corner. Shelton chucks Ricky to the floor and hits a thrust kick to Kaun. Release German by Shelton to Bishop. Shelton with the knee strike for Kaun, but Ricky put his own head in the way, taking the blow instead. Lashley is very much alive, as he SPEARS Kaun in the middle of the ring! SPEAR for Ricky! SPEAR for Toa! Back outside, Lashley hits a spinebuster on Liona through another table!

Benjamin stalks Ricky around the ring, and here comes MVP and Bobby! Ricky is some serious shit, as MVP hits a face buster, Lashley with a HUGE standing choke slam, and finally, Shelton hits Ricky with a release German through the table! The pin, the win!
WINNER: The Hurt Syndicate
TIME: 16:30
THOUGHTS: FINALLY! It felt like the Syndicate was losing their clout and their respect, but this win should get them back on track. It was mindless fun with some fun spots, and a lot of chaos.
RATING: ***1/4

The Jurassic Express will be here next!

COMMERCIALS!

Renee is here with Don Callis and half of the AEW Roster AKA The Don Callis Family. Don says he doesn’t need to plan anything, but he expects The Walking Weapon to disable Kota Ibushi. Kyle O’Reilly is a thorn in his side, but Kyle Fletcher will remove that thorn.

Rocky Romero says that this past weekend in CMLL, Bandido ripped his shoulder out, so he is going to be exposes tonight.

Callis says they will hold all of the gold in AEW.

It’s time for a reunion! Sing it, Taz!

The Jurassic Express vs. O’Ryan and KM (I think?)

Perry and O’Ryan to status us off. Perry wrestles circles around him, and we see The Young Bucks in the back with a couple of kids lol. Luchasaurus in now, he throws the jobber around like a sack of shit. The Jobber attempts to punch him, but that earns him a launch from the ring. Perry removes the ring post cover, a beachball ends up in the ring, and JE layout both O’Ryan and KM (I assume) on the apron. Countdown to Extinction ends this one.
WINNER: Jurassic Express
TIME: 2:40
THOUGHTS: A fun reunion and a way to show new fans who may have not seen the original Jurassic Express run how much fun they can be.
RATING: N/R

Post-match, The Young Bucks hit ring side, drag Perry out of the ring and throw him into the barricade. Luchasaurus grabs Matt out of the air, but he gets a low blow from both Bucks and an EVP Trigger! Perry tries to fight back, but he gets taken out by the Bucks. Matt on the mic, he says they call this a call back, as he hits a lariat on Perry. Nick says how about Jurassic Express and the Young Bucks at Wrestle Dream and they hit the TK Driver on Perry.

Death Riders in the back. OI OI OI, says PAC, calling Cassidy Tangerine Balls. This isn’t personal, but you are standing his way, and he is going to destroy him. And they have bigger and better things in mind, tell them Yuta!

Wheeler says that this is going to hurt Cassidy as much as it is going to hurt him. He says they need to cut the shit out and cut the fat.

Garcia says winning comes naturally, and they are going to keep winning, because that is what winners do.

Riveting shit, Ollie.

INCOMING KYLE ON KYLE VIOLENCE!

AEW TNT World Title Match: Kyle Fletcher (C) vs. Kyle O’Reilly

Okay, don’t let me down with the chants, Jacksonville! Early advantage by Fletcher leads to O’Reilly turning the tides with a straight ankle lock. Both men back to their feet as they struggle for wrist control. Fletcher spins out and hits a scoop slam to O’Reilly. Chops by Fletcher, O’Reilly ducks the last one and kicks the hamstrings of Fletcher. Takedown by KOR, punches follow, and he applies a cross-arm breaker, but Fletcher quickly gets to the ropes. Fletcher on the floor shakes out his arm, but he doesn’t see O’Reilly coming by as he strikes him with a flying knee. O’Reilly returns Fletcher to the ring, but the Champion scoops the challenger up and hits a Michinoku Driver! That’ll take us to break!

Fletcher has O’Reilly up as we return. However, O’Reilly escapes and his hits another knee strike and a release German to Fletcher. Elbow strike and an axe kick by the challenger! O’Reilly locks in the hammerlock/guillotine. Fletcher tries to headbutt his way out, but O’Reilly locks a triangle. Fletcher powerbombs O’Reilly, but he goes into a modified heel hook! Fletcher makes it to the ropes. Fletcher rolls out to the apron, O’Reilly follows. Both men trade chops and kicks, O’Reilly rings the arm of Fletcher and drops him onto the apron. O’Reilly tries another running knee strike, but Fletcher moves, and he strikes the champion from behind. O’Reilly turns the tables and drops Fletcher into the chair headfirst. O’Reilly with the running knee strike on the floor!

Fletcher fights back in the ring, O’Reilly with kicks and double wrist control. Fletcher just land darts O’Reilly into the second turnbuckle. Both men to their feet as they trade forearms. Running knees follow, swinging DDT by O’Reilly. Fletcher counters, but O’Reilly drops Fletcher on his head with a bridging German. Fletcher stops O’Reilly’s attack, but KOR changes levels with an ankle lock. He lets go, stomps on the Achilles of Fletcher, and gets a two count. O’Reilly back to the ankle lock, but Fletcher rolls through and hits the Brain Buster! Fletcher punches his leg, flat kick in the corner, and a second sheer drop brain buster, and Fletcher retains!
WINNER: Kyle Fletcher
TIME: 13:10
THOUGHTS: Put two awesome guys in the ring and let them go at it. It’s a simple equation, really, and one for an awesome match. Kyle can face Kyle anytime, and I will Kyle the Kyle out!
RATING: ****

Post-match, Lance Archer hits the ring, looking to choke slam O’Reilly, but here comes Roderick Strong and Big Tom! Rocky Romero is here to sneak attack, but Mark Briscoe is here to make them reach for the sky! Briscoe deposits Archer on the floor and beats up Romero before he sends him from the ring. He comes face-to-face with Fletcher, and they threaten a fight, but Kyle backs up and out of the ring.

Mercedes Mone will defend her TBS Title next!

COMMERCIALS!

Renee in the back with the DCF, and she wants to know why Kyle backed away from Briscoe. Fletcher says that he just had a hard-fought match, and he didn’t feel like fighting him. Need he remind you, that he has beaten Briscoe two times. Renee says that Mark has defeated him twice as well, and Renee says at Wrestle Dream, he will defend the title against Briscoe. Fletcher looks like he dumped in his nappy of fear, as Callis whispers to him.

There are a hundred thousand title belts in the ring, and you know what that means!

Lacey Lane (The former Kayden Carter) is the challenger! I love it!

TBS World Title Match: Merecedes Mone (C) vs. Lacey Lane

The bell rings, as Lane goes behind Mone, but Mercedes shoves her off. Mone with a shoulder tackle to Lane, as they come face-to-face and Lane rolls her up for a two count. Lane with a crucifix pin for a two count. Mone to the corner, her kick misses, and Lane with another roll-up. Another roll-up, as Lane comes off the ropes with a springboard dropkick! Another two count. Lane with a baseball slide kick to Mone, and she mocks her CEO dance. Mone is angry, as she returns to the ring, but a series of counters ensues, at least until Lane kicks her square in the face. Lane tries to bring Mone back in from the apron, but a high kick from Lane ends that. A variation of the stunner from Lane and then a Heatseeker! The cover, two count. It’s time for a break.

(But we all know that sucks. 🧐🧐)

Lane has Mone from behind (Giggity) and hits a drop toe hold on Mone as we return from break. Lane takes too long telegraphing her next move, as Mone reverses and goes into the Three Amigos. Mone to the top, her frog splash meets the knees of Lane. She tries the Meteora, but Lane moves, and she hits a running thrust kick to Mone! The cover, two count! Another thrust kick from Lane, but Mone with a knee strike and a lung blower. Mone with whiplash in the corner. She tries another Meteora, but Lane moves. Lane off the ropes with a springboard leg drop! Hammerlock Flatliner! The cover, but Mone kicks out at 2.5!

Lane picks up Mone, she hits Mone with a spiral leg drop! That was creative! Cover, two count. Lane looking for another hammerlock flatliner, but Mone counters out. Counters ensue for a bit, but Mone hits the Mone Maker! The cover, the retention!
WINNER: Mercedes Mone (Still Champion)
TIME: 9:15
THOUGHTS: Mone continues to be ever so dominant, as expected, but seeing Lane step up and bee her challenger was a welcome development. I think Khan needs to sign her, too.
RATING: All the peaches and oranges in Florida.

LFI are in the back. Frank Mortos has sunglasses on lol. Sammy Guevara wants to talk. Yay. Last week, Eddie may have beaten Dralistico, but this week, he is going up against the Beast Mortos.

Mortos: (Takes off his sunglasses) RAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

Eddie Kingston says, Dog, I beat Dralistico’s ass last week. Dog, you have to stop letting Sammy speak for you!

Our love’s in (Double) Jeopardy next!

COMMERCIALS!

Double Jeopardy Eliminator Match: Konosuke Takeshita and AEW Unified Champion Kazuchika Okada vs. AEW World Tag Team Champions Brodido

So, if Bandido or King pin either Okada or Takeshita, they earn a shot at Okada’s title. And if Okada and Takeshita win, they will earn a tag team title shot. Just so we’re clear.

Takeshita and Bandido (with bad shoulder) start us off. Bandido with wrist control, Takeshita reverses to gain the advantage. Takeshita cuts off the knee strike and slams Bandido down face first. Bandido misses the leg sweep, Bandido avoids the German, and King smacks Takeshita. King uses his partner and slams him onto Takeshita. Okada with the tag, but he runs into a scoop slam and a running back splash from King. Bandido tags back in, and the champions light up Okada with chops in their corner. Okada misses with a lariat, flying head scissors by Bandido, but Okada back with a dropkick. King tags in, and he smashes Okada into the corner. Okada drops him on the apron, as Takeshita hits a big running boot to King. DDT from Takeshita to King, as he drops to the floor. Okada shows he too can hit a DDT to King on the floor. He gets into Takeshita’s face as they stare each other down heading into the break.

King reverses Takeshita with a side suplex as we return from break. It allows Okada to tag in, but he too falls victim to a side suplex from King. King is sent to the corner, but King fires back with a double lariat to Okada and Takeshita. Bandido in, he dives onto Okada. He goes for the pin, Takeshita kicks Okada by accident, and Bandido sends him from the ring. Backslide by Bandido, Okada out at two. A crucifix follows for a two count. Okada stops him with a knee to the gut, but his suplex is reversed by Bandido! The cover, Takeshita with the save. King in, and he throws Takeshita from the ring. Bandido with a knee to the head of Okada as King hits a driver! The cover, Takeshita powers Bandido into the pile to break it up.

Takeshita tags in officially, but he runs into thrust kicks and clotheslines from the champions. Takeshita reverses Bandido and sits him on the top rope, but Bandido kicks him into King for a Bossman Slam. The Champs look for their finisher, but Okada grabs Bandido by the bad shoulder and takes him to the floor! Release German by Takeshita to King! Blue Thunder Bomb! King isn’t the legal man, though, and Takeshita’s forearm is blocked, but it allows Takeshita to hit the Overdrive Knee! Raging Fire is reversed into a roll-up for a two count. Okada holds Bandido in place, but he moves, and Takeshita boots Okada in the face! X-Knee by Bandido! 21-Plex, but Bandido’s shoulder gives out! Poison rana from Takeshita! Takeshita looking Overdrive Knee, but Okada tags himself in! Takeshita kicks King off the apron, and Okada with the RAINMAKAAAAAAAAAAAAA for the win!
WINNER: Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita
TIME: 12:00
THOUGHTS: Okada and Takeshita as the odd couple/couple that bicker and fight is a fun dynamic, and even when they win, Takeshita hates Okada lol. I like Okada and Takeshita getting a tag team title shot (perhaps at Wrestle Dream?), and that may be the point in time where the riff fully develops between Okada and Takeshita. As for this match, it was a lot of fun.
RATING: ***1/2

Renee is here with the Fun Squad AKA Mike Bailey, Kevin Knight, and Willow Nightingale. It makes Bailey sick to see the likes of FTR and Stoke bully people, and that is why they respect Willow. Knight wonders if they can be top guys anymore after Kevin beat Dax and left him looking at the lights. Willow wants to know how good her French is, she says they have a surprise for her, but there is no surprise when they beat FTR and Megan Bayne at their own game. Knight wants to know what the little garden gnomes name is, and Willow says FTR are on the way down, and Jet Speed are on the way up, OH YEAH! Such a fun trio!

The main event is next!

COMMERCIALS!

Big Stoke and FTR are here! Stoke says he does respect Jet Speed because they want to get into the ring with FTR. But there is someone that he hates, and that is Willow Nightingale. Knight only beat Harwood last week because of her, and this week, they will take care of her. Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford are here, and Uncle Dax is having serious neck strain looking at Megan’s cleavage lol. Megan says that Willow does not measure up to a goddess such as her, and she will never beat her. Stoke goes to say Top Guys Out, but Megan stops him and says Top Gods, Out.

Renee has Brodido in the back. Bandido says that this loss is all his fault, but King says don’t say things like that. You were the one who said we had to keep fighting, and that is what they will do at Wrestle Dream when they defeat Okada and Takeshita.

Where is my mind? Well, it’s out of my head and you’re out of time!

Orange Cassidy vs. PAC

Man, I want to say that PAC looks great. I’m still not used to the short hair, and the Christopher Daniels inspired ring gear, though.

Cassidy goes to put his hands in his pockets, but PAC stops that. PAC overpowers Cassidy to the corner. Cassidy with the deadliest kicks that would make Chuck Norris and JCVD jealous, but PAC is an extraterrestrial being and takes out the leg of Cassidy. He grabs a headlock on the mat, and Cassidy reverses with a leg lock. PAC up and he puts on a cravat. PAC with wrist control, Cassidy rocks back and forth before finally kipping up. PAC goes behind, but Cassidy rolls out. Off the ropes, arm drag from Cassidy. He rams PAC from corner to corner. He tries to fight off the third one, but Cassidy eventually rams him into the corner again. Cassidy with a springboard clothesline, sending PAC to the floor. Cassidy looks to dive into a DDT on the floor, but PAC cuts him off and hits the Falcon Arrow! He did the deal, as we go to our final commercial break!

PAC is perched and waiting for Cassidy to get up as we return. He hits Cassidy with a missile dropkick, but he doesn’t elect for a pin. PAC taunts Cassidy and the fans, as Cassidy viciously slaps PAC in the chest. PACT very gently kicks Cassidy in the head. Cassidy with more bone breaking slaps, and PAC drops his straps as a forearm battle breaks out. Cassidy drops PAC, but PAC back up with a knee strike. Cassidy back to his feet and he is MAD lol. PAC with a kick to the gut, thrust kick by Cassidy, release German by PAC. Cassidy looking Beach Break, but he settles for a PK.

Cassidy dives into the arms on PAC on the floor, but Cassidy counters with the Stun Dog Millionaire! Cassidy returns to the ring, as he hits the dive into the DDT on the floor! Cassidy hit PAC with the Orange Punch so hard the bell rang lol. Cassidy back to the ring, he climbs to the top, he puts his hands in his pockets, AND HE HITS A COFFIN DROP TO PAC THROUGH THE TABLE! He returns PAC to the ring, tilt-a-world into the DDT! The elbow pad is off! Orange Punch! The cover, but PAC gets his foot on the bottom rope! Cassidy again goes to the top rope, but PAC takes a page out of the OC playbook, as he slowly rolls away lol.

PAC retreats up the ramp, as Cassidy gives chase. PAC goes up into the stands. Cassidy falls victim into a kick to the gut and a Tombstone Piledriver!

Bryce: WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU!

PAC kicks Cassidy down the steps, but PAC can’t move! We see Darby Allin has chained PAC to the pole! Cassidy makes it back to the ring as PAC breaks the chain and makes it in right before ten! Unfortunately, he jumps right into a Cassadora for a three count!
WINNER: Orange Cassidy
TIME: 15:35
THOUGHTS: I would say that this match kind of felt like the opening match, but whereas that was so slow and painfully lethargic, this one managed to keep things interesting even when the slow/rest spots were going on. Allin showing up to chain PAC to the bleachers was creative and it didn’t break the “No Conglomeration or Death Riders” rule, since Darby isn’t a member of Cassidy’s group. A really good main event, and an even more interesting premise at play.
RATING: ***3/4

All hell breaks loose post-match, as PAC goes after Allin on the stage. The rest of the Death Riders are here, but Allin sends Yuta over the announce table and he has a taser! I think he used it on Yuta lol. They go to the back, as the Death Riders try to keep Jon from getting to Darby. Maybe because Darby has a Molotov Cocktail and he wants to light it! But before he can, AEW Security literally tackle Allin into the trash bins so he can’t use it. BOO! Security keeps the Death Riders from getting to Darby as the scene ends.

And with that, we are done!

8.0
The final score: review Very Good
The 411
Aside from the opening match, this was a very good episode of Dynamite (Two) Title Tuesday. A hidden highlight, amongst all the action, all the promos, and all of the sidetrack stuff, are the Renee Paquette narrated video packages, and tonight for Toni and Kris. Everything clicked, again, except for the Moxley-Ishii match, we got more matches for Wrestle Dream, and a deeper dive into the Joe-Page issues at play. Nothing else I can really ask for, if I'm being completely honest.
