Details On Flamita Missing AAA Show Earlier This Month

It was reported earlier this month that Bandido, along with Flamita, both no-showed an AAA Event in Monterrey, Mexico. Bandido ended up showing up at a CMLL event and announced he has signed with them. Flamita’s issues with AAA may end up being settled, and The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has more details on what that issue was.
From AAA’s point-of-view, their problem was that Flamita never called to say he was missing the event. They called him when they learned he wasn’t in the venue, but he never called back or answered the phone. He showed up on the following Wednesday without calling anyone for two days.
Konnan wasn’t saying that he couldn’t work the show, but Flamita was told that Konnan (who hadn’t arrived yet) would have to change his plans since they thought Flamita wouldn’t be there. Konnan’s flight from Mexico City was delayed and Flamita left before he arrived. He was pulled from a show in Tijuana on December 6 because they asumed he was going to no-show. While they thought he would show up at Arena Mexico for CMLL, he didn’t.
