Drew McIntyre’s WWE contract won’t be up for a while, according to a new report. As reported in April of last year, McIntyre signed a new deal with the company. McIntyre’s deal came down to the wire at that point, as his deal would have expired in a month.
Vince Russo got a little bit of attention Tuesday on Twitter when he invited McIntyre to work for JCW when his deal is up. Fightful Select reports that won’t happen for a while (if ever). The outlet reports that McIntyre’s deal runs through 2028 and may carry him at least through WrestleMania 44.
McIntyre’s deal is said to be worth millions of dollars a year. He fought Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Title at Saturday Night’s Main Event. However, he came away without the title win.
