Elias Says His In-Ring Character Is Not An Act
In an interview with WMC 5 in Memphis, TN, Elias said that his in-ring character is not an act, but more of a reflection of who he is and what he does. Here are highlights:
On performing on RAW tonight: “An Elias performance is worth the price of admission. And now Elias is here. What a perfect fit.”
On performing in Memphis: “Every city we go to is a little bit different, but there’s a little bit extra…I wanna say energy because of the history in Memphis here. It’s the fans of wrestling past and present getting together and it’s going to be fantastic tonight.”
On if his character is an act: “I really don’t like you calling it an act. Because this is my real life. This is who I am, and this is what I do.”
On his WWE run so far: “It’s everything you want it to be if you’re a fan of wrestling, because that’s what I am, a fan of wrestling. I always wanted to be a wrestler.”
