Impact Rating Dives to 2017 Low, Viewership Down
– Impact Wrestling’s rating dropped hard this week, hitting the lowest point of the year. Thursday night’s episode brought in a 0.04 rating on Pop TV, down 43% from last week’s 0.07. The viewership was also down heavily with 231,000, a 14% dive from 267,000 last week. The rating was the worst since the December 22nd, 2016 “Best of 2016” special did a 0.04. The last time an original episode of the show hit this low was back on December 16th, 2015 which was the final episode on Destination America. The viewership, meanwhile, was the second lowest of 2017 and was ahead of only the September 7th episode’s 227,000.
Impact ranked #149 among cable originals for the night per Showbuzz Daily, with the NFL game on NFL Network leading the way at a 1.09 demo rating and 2.723 million viewers.
