Impact Wrestling Rating Stays Low, Viewership Hits 2017 Low
– This week’s episode of Impact Wrestling stayed low, while viewership hit the lowest point of 2017. Thursday’s episode brought in a 0.02 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 161,000 viewers, steady with and down 29% from last week’s 0.02 and 226,000 viewers. The viewership was the slightly down from the Thanksgiving episode’s 169,000 viewers and was the lowest live non-holiday episode from the POP TV era.
Impact was not among the top 150 cable originals for the night, per Showbuzz Daily. The Lakers vs. Cavaliers game won the night with a 0.74 demo rating and 1.787 million viewers. Of note, the NFL game brought in a 0.64 and 1.952 million viewers on the NFL Network and, in a combined simulcast with NBC, totalled a 3.54 demo rating and 12.59 million viewers, down from last week’s combined 5.39 demo rating and 17.613 million viewers.
