Jade Cargill knows that being a wrestling heel comes natural to her, and she recently explained why that’s the case. Cargill has found her highest success on the heel side of her persona, including a lengthy reign as WWE Women’s Champion. She is seeking to reclaim the title from Rhea Ripley at WWE Clash in Italy.

Cargill spoke with O’Shea Jackson Jr. on ESPN’s The Rich Eisen Show and talked about her approach to the rematch. She also talked about how she’s a natural heel, saying that because people hate her because she can’t be her. You can see highlights below:

On Her Approach To the Rematch:

“I’m going to approach this match totally different. Like I was saying in previous interviews, I was moreso just playing with my food and not going for the kill. Just entertaining the crowd, getting all high on that, and then she took advantage and she struck when the opening was there.

“But the European crowd is crazy. It’s electric, it’s nothing like it. I love coming to Europe. I think last time I was in Europe, I had a match against Liv [Morgan]. That ain’t go as planned. But either way, the crowd is so electric and I’m hoping to hear a crowd full of boos tomorrow.”

On Being a Natural Heel:

“I’m a natural heel. People hate what they can’t be. You get what I’m saying? Like, I look good, I smell good. I mean, I’m one of one. Nobody has a body like mine. And this is year-round, this is not just for a season of competition or whatever you want to call it. I’m just naturally blessed.

“And I’m gorgeous, by the way. So, it’s not just about the body, it’s about the face as well. There’s not one woman that looks like me, regardless of how hard they work. I’m just God-given. So it is what it is.”
