Jeff Hardy Reveals the Ladder Match That He and Matt Hardy Used to Emulate
– Speaking to Theonemona ahead of TNA Bound for Glory, The Hardys (Matt and Jeff Hardy) revealed how greatly the first ladder match between Razor Ramon and Shawn Michaels inspired their careers. Below are some highlights (via WrestlingInc.com):
Jeff Hardy on the match that inspired them the most: “Definitely when Shawn Michaels, ‘The Heartbreak Kid,’ and Razor Ramon had their ladder match many moons ago. We saw that match as teenagers and we started emulating what they did in the ring on our trampoline, and time would pass and we started doing that in real wrestling rings. And that really is our claim to fame when it comes to our careers.”
Jeff Hardy on their tag team ladder match at No Mercy 1999: “That first-ever tag team ladder match really changed our careers for the better extremely.”
In the main event at TNA Bound for Glory 2024, The Hardys won the three-team Full Metal Mayhem Match to win the TNA World Tag Team Titles.
