On a recent episode of his podcast, “Grilling JR,” Jim Ross shared a positive and significant update regarding his recent health battle. He confirmed his cancer is gone and that he plans to return to work for AEW All In: Texas event in Dallas. Here are the highlights:

On his current health: “I’m tired of sitting at home, and I’m excited about the opportunities that await. I am feeling better. My plan is to be in Dallas for the big event 0All In: Texas]. You want to always be near or attached to as best you can the big events that your company that you’re working for is promoting. And so I’m excited about the opportunity to get back in the saddle and to kick some ass at some of these events. So I’m feeling better. You never know about tomorrow. The cancer is gone, which I’m very happy to say. So I’m blessed that my health has returned, and I’m feeling pretty damn good.”

On credit to AEW President Tony Khan for his support during his illness: “I’m very indebted to AEW for hiring me, bringing me on board. And Tony Khan has been amazingly wonderful during my illness. He supported me wholeheartedly and I really do appreciate that. That’s the way a boss should act, should do, is take care of your people. And Tony Khan has certainly taken good care of me, and I plan on being reciprocal and doing my best to take care of him in my role going forward.”
