On a recent episode of his podcast, “Grilling JR,” Jim Ross discussed the recent announcement that TNA Wrestling will be moving to AMC starting in January 2026.
The move will see TNA Impact air on Thursday nights, a traditional night for the promotion, on the same network that hosted hit shows like Mad Men and Breaking Bad. Here are the highlights:
On the Deal:
“They got to get ratings. It’s a great opportunity for TNA, a great opportunity. So I hope they make the most of it. I hope they’re successful. You know, if you’re a fan of wrestling, you’re a fan of wrestling, don’t matter what company it is, you’re a fan of wrestling. And I am a big fan of all wrestling, and I’m pulling for TNA.”
On The Show Sticking To Thursdays:
“I hope they do well, Thursday nights. Thursday nights belong to TNA.”
On if AAA Can Get a US TV Deal:
“Anything is possible. Anything is possible in today’s pro wrestling business. So if AAA finds a spot, it wouldn’t shock me.”
