WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently joined The Wrestling Classic, discussing the current roles of his fellow Kliq members Shawn Michaels and Triple H running NXT and WWE, how he’s not interested in coming back for an announcing job, and who he thinks would’ve made a good female member of the nWo. Below are some highlights (via Fightful):
Kevin Nash on if he ever expected to see Shawn Michaels and Triple H where they are now: “No. I knew Triple H. I mean, when I had heard that Triple H was, like, going to production meetings when, like, the NWO was hot. Like, you know, he was in the doghouse. Yeah, he was in the doghouse, actually, at Curtain Call. So, he was a student of it, and Shawn always loved the business. All it took was, you know, Triple H to get… kind of in the mix. And then he asked Shawn to help. Of course, Shawn did. I was done working by then.”
On asked to come back for an announcing gig: “That’s the one thing they say. Come back and announce and come back and do this and t’s just like, you got to fly in Sunday to work Monday to leave Tuesday. That’s three days. I mean, you got a job. I don’t want a job.”
On who he thinks would’ve made a good female member of the nWo: “I remember, like, when she was, you know, when her (Mercedes Mone) and Bayley had that match in Brooklyn. I said that then that she was, you know…(a possible NWO member) But now I might have to go Rhea [Ripley]. I might have to go Rhea. Rhea might be a better fit with the NWO than Sasha.”
