Matches Announced For This Week’s NXT Level Up

WWE has announced the lineup for this week’s episode of NXT Level Up. The company announced on Thursday that the following matches are set for Friday’s show, which airs on Peacock and WWE Network:

* Hank Walker vs. Duke Hudson
* The Hail vs. Brooklyn Barlow
* Bryson Montana vs. Ru Feng

Walker and Hudson primed for slugfest on NXT Level Up
A thrilling episode of NXT Level Up will feature Hank Walker locking horns with Duke Hudson, Thea Hail tangling with Brooklyn Barlow, and Bryson Montana battling Ru Feng.

Walker immediately turned some heads and seemed to become an instant fan favorite when he made his first NXT Level Up appearance on July 1. Though he was defeated by Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, he brought the WWE Universe to a fever pitch when he had his opponent reeling after landing some impactful strikes and power moves.

Hudson, meanwhile, seems all but certain to look down his nose at the newcomer, considering that’s his typical reaction to all of his opponents. Though his arrogance has drawn the ire of the NXT Arena, Hudson often backs up his bluster, as he did during his last appearance on NXT Level Up when he toppled Javier Bernal.

The newest student at Chase University, Hail is hoping that she can continue to use Andre Chase’s teachings to her advantage, as she has won each of her matches (a singles clash with Arianna Grace and a Six-Person Tag Team Match alongside Chase and Bodhi Hayward against Duke Hudson, Grayson Waller and Tiffany Stratton) since enrolling at the popular school.

She’ll be opposed by Barlow, who has impressed with her athleticism but is still looking for that elusive first win.

Montana, an exciting and ever-enthusiastic rookie, will seek his first victory when he tangles with Feng, a deadly striker. Feng has recently battled Ikemen Jiro in a pair of seesaw bouts, though he was narrowly edged by his more experienced opponent on each occasion.
