Mercedes Mone has been on hiatus for a bit, but she is set to make her return to the ring at Banger Zone Wrestling in March. The AEW star has been “on hiatus” from AEW since last month, when she revealed she was taking time off from the company after losing the TBS Championship to Willow Nightingale at New Year’s Smash, declaring that she would show how she elevated the company by her absence.
While Mone is not set to return to AEW quite yet, she will be returning to the ring for Banger Zone’s BZW APOGÉE on March 14th in Dreux, France. BZW wrote on Twitter on Thursday:
“APOGÉE
MERCEDES MONÉ
The global superstar Mercedes Moné arrives THIS MARCH 14 for APOGÉE!
The CEO
An international icon
unique, unmissable moment!”
No word yet on who she may face at the show. While she has shed all of her AEW Championships as well as the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship, Mone still holds a number of titles in independent promotions and CMLL including the CMLL World Women’s Championship, the APAC Women’s Championship, the WPW Women’s Championship, the BODYSLAM Women’s Championship, the DW Women’s Championship, the PTW Women’s Championship, the Bestya Women’s Championship, and the EWA Women’s Championship.
