Netflix Reportedly Does Not View WWE Raw Vault as a ‘High Priority’

Netflix is reportedly not prioritizing the expansion of its WWE Raw archive, leaving much of the show’s history unavailable on the streaming platform.
Raw became exclusive to Netflix in the United States and most international markets on January 1, 2025. The move came as part of WWE’s 10-year agreement with the streaming service. Episodes that have aired on the platform since the deal began remain available for replay. The older Raw library, however, has not received the same treatment.
As of August 2026, Netflix’s WWE Raw: Vault features episodes from 1993 through 2001. The collection focuses heavily on the Attitude Era before jumping straight to 2022. Most episodes from the 2000s and 2010s remain unavailable, while some years even have fewer than 10 episodes in the current archive.
Dave Meltzer addressed the situation on Wrestling Observer Radio. He said Netflix is not treating the older Raw episodes as a high priority. While he believes the episodes will eventually become available, he suggested that content and standards concerns could be factors behind Netflix’s current approach.
Meltzer said (via Wrestling Inc), “It’s not a high priority to get them up. I think they’ll all be up at some point. They all have standards, and there’s things that happened that might’ve been okay then, may have not been all that great then even, but would certainly not play now, and I wouldn’t be throwing that stuff out immediately.”
The same issue affects WWE SmackDown. Netflix’s SmackDown Vault currently features only 2-6 episodes for each year between 2000 and 2008. There are no SmackDown episodes currently available from 2009 through 2021.
