New United States Champion Crowned on Smackdown

– R-Truth’s US Open challenge lasted only two weeks. Samoa Joe defeated R-Truth to win his first main roster title in WWE on tonight’s Smackdown in a Fatal Four-Way that also included Rey Mysterio and Andrade. You can see some clips from the match below.

Joe ends Truth’s run at thirty-five days, having won the title from Shinsuke Nakamura on the January 29th Smackdown.
