Nia Jax Wins WWE Women’s Title at Summerslam, Tiffany Stratton Fails Cash-In

The Queen of the Ring is now the WWE Women’s Champion, as Nia Jax defeated Bayley at Summerslam tonight in Cleveland. At one point, it looked as though Tiffany Stratton might cash in her Money in the Bank contract. However, Bayley knocked her off the apron before she could. This led to two powerbombs from Nia Jax, then two Annihilators for the pin.
This is Jax’s second reign as Women’s Champion, and her first in six years. It ends Bayley’s second reign at 119 days after she won it at Wrestlemania on April 7.
