NJPW Clears Tomoaki Honma and Yota Tsuji for In-Ring Returns This Week

– As previously reported, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) pulled wrestlers Tomoaki Honma and Yota Tsuji from the Sengoku Lord event on Saturday, July 25 in Nagoya after recording a TV show with someone who later tested positive for COVID-19. They were withheld from the show as a precautionary measure. According to a new statement released today new NJPW, both men have been cleared to return to the ring.
Per the announcement, Honma and Tsuji are now cleared to return for NJPW’s upcoming non-televised event set for tomorrow (July 29) in Hamamatsu. You can read the full statement below:
Tomoaki Honma, Yota Tsuji cleared for return
On July 25, Yota Tsuji and Tomoaki Honma were both pulled from the Sengoku Lord in Nagoya as a precautionary measure.
Since then, both wrestlers have undertaken PCR testing and are confirmed negative for Coronavirus. They are both cleared to return to competition from Wednesday July 29’s non-televised event in Hamamatsu.
