NJPW Announces Tournament Details For G1 Climax Qualifying Matches

This year the NJPW G1 Climax will feature qualifying tournaments for the final spot in the A and B Blocks in the G1. New Japan Pro Wrestling has announced details for the tournament, which begins on June 22 and ends July 3.

A Block Qualifiers: Tomohiro Ishii, YOSHI-HASHI, Chase Owens, KENTA, Callum Newman, Yujiro Takahashi

* 1st round (June 22): Callum Newman vs Yujiro Takahashi – Winner faces KENTA July 3
* 1st round (June 22): YOSHI-HASHI vs Chase Owens – Winner faces Tomohiro Ishii July 3

B Block Qualifiers: Hiroshi Tanahashi, Toru Yano, Oleg Boltin, Taichi, Satoshi Kojima, TJP

* First round (June 23): Toru Yano vs Boltin Oleg – Winner faces Hiroshi Tanahashi July 3
* First round (June 23): Satoshi Kojima vs TJP – Winner faces Taichi July 3
