Notes On Tomorrow’s WWE Hall of Fame: Ozzy Osbourne and Jushin Liger Weren’t At Taping, No Inductors This Year, More
PWInsider reports that there were no inductors for the WWE Hall of Fame this year as there had been in the past. During the taping, WWE ran a video package for most (possibly all) of the inductees, then introduced them to give a speech.
Due to how many talents were involved, since it combines the 2020 and 2021 classes, the speeches were kept to a minimum. Some of them were as short as 4-5 minutes. It was also noted that the speeches that ran long will probably be edited.
William Shatner is considered part of the 2020 Class. He wasn’t announced last year because the ceremony was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jushin Liger, who is part of the 2020 Class, was not in attendance and accepted his induction with a video. Ozzy Osbourne, who has yet to be announced but is expected to be inducted, also accepted via video.
PWInsider also noted that Osbourne is included on the official WWE Hall of Fame t-shirt, so it seems that all that’s left is for WWE to make the announcement, which will likely come on RAW tonight.
