WWE News: NXT Video Looks at Jake Atlas, Quibi Service Announces Shutdown

– A new NXT Performance Center video has been released looking at NXT’s Jake Atlas. You can see the video below, which is described as follows:

“NXT Superstar Jake Atlas opens up about where his love for wrestling comes from. Jake also speaks wholeheartedly about wanting to spark change in not just the community but also the world.”

– Quibi, the short form video service that launched back six months ago, is shutting down. The Wall Street Journal reports that the company is shutting down the service, which has been confirmed in a statement by Jeffrey Katzenberg and Meg Whitman.

Quibi launched in April with two plans: an ad-free plan for $7.99 and an ad-supported version for $4.99. The service featured shows cut into in five to ten minute “chapters,” including WWE’s Fight Like a Girl series. No word on whether WWE will try to keep the show going on their digital platforms or elsewhere.
