Two-time NXT Champion Oba Femi has predictably made a huge splash since making his WWE main roster debut earlier this year.

The Nigerian Giant has been presented as an unstoppable force, which he well and truly is, and he has looked the part despite being in the nascent stages of his main roster career.

That said, NXT and the main roster are two completely different worlds, and one has to be able to adjust quickly to the demands to thrive in that environment.

Oba Femi recently spoke to TVInsider, and during the conversation, he opened up about what it’s like to be on the main roster compared to being on the developmental brand.

Below are the highlights:

Oba Femi on the differences in being on the main roster compared to NXT

“There is a lot more traveling on the main roster. A way bigger audience and platform. I’m glad that everything I was able to do over at NXT happened. I was able to translate to the main roster effortlessly, seamlessly. The crowd has been behind me. They know my schtick. They know what I do. The ruler is here to stay on the main roster.”

The Ruler on whether anyone helped him to ease into the locker room

“Nobody in particular on the road. I always have my mentors I go to, like my Ivar’s and my Coach [Matt] Bloom’s, so they have always been there for me. Nobody on the road, though.”

Femi is set for a huge match on tonight’s RAW, as he is scheduled to face Rusev following weeks of intense confrontations. You can check out the lineup for tonight’s episode HERE.
