STARDOM Goddesses of Stardom Tag League Night 6
November 15th, 2025 | Chateraise Gateaux Kingdom in Sapporo, Hokkaido | Attendance: 455
We’ve got another forfeit to report ahead of this show. Blood Girls’ School lose to Golden Trigger as Suzu Suzuki is still not cleared.
Blue Goddesses Block: Reiwa Tokyo Towers [2] vs. Sakurara [2]
A lot of the early stuff here involved the Tokyo Towers dominating. They have been portraying a big, tough team so it makes sense for them to kick the asses of two lower card ladies. That included a very long giant swing by Lady C that almost rivaled the ones done by Claudio Castagnoli. Sakura was the legal participant for her team for most of the match and we didn’t even really get a hot tag spot or anything like that. Interestingly, when it seemed like it was coming down to a win for Reiwa Tokyo Towers, Sakura pulled Lady C into a weird pinning combination to steal this in 10:22. A solid match that didn’t go the way I expected and I appreciated that. [**½]
Red Goddesses Block: Blue Flame [2] vs. Reckless Fantasy [0]
Hina and Ranna have proven themselves to be a solid tandem in early tournament matches. Waka and Rian are kind of just there, even if Rian has shown improvement. There’s not much to say about this match as it went the way you’d expect. Some decent fast paced action and a fair amount of energy from both teams but nothing that would make this stand out. Ranna was sure to attack Waka’s ass, taking out her most efficient offensive weapon. In the end, Ranna laid out Waka with a series of kicks to win at the 8:54 mark. About what you’d expect here. [**]
Red Goddesses Block: AquaStella [4] vs. DLM [4]
Okay, now we’re cooking. Anytime I can get Mei in there against Hazuki, I mean Teotleco, I’m game. This got off to a fun start with some quality back and forth and I was very into it. However, my gripe with the match came once they slowed the pace soon after. It was clear that they were going to at least test the time limit because the stuff they were doing wasn’t what I’ve come to expect from these four and you could tell it was their version of stalling. Of course, these four aren’t going to keep things slow for long. They picked things back up and gave us some really good exchanges. DLM are getting more confident in their heel personas as well. At its peak, this match was the classic High Speed stuff we’ve come to know from these four, which is right up my alley. The spot where DLM has their stereo dives cut off leading to double dropkicks by AquaStella was the highlight. The closing stretch saw some big moves and close calls until time expired at 15:00 during pin attempts. A really good match where the only real issue was those few minutes early on that felt like stalling. [***½]
Blue Goddesses Block: Mega Skyscrapers [4] vs. New Sisters [4]
Konami and Rina have done well as a hard hitting duo in the tournament while HANAKO and Megan are a powerhouse team. That set the stage for a really good, hard hitting match. Rina and Konami weren’t backing down from their size disadvantage and watching them collide with a strong team made for quality entertainment. My favorite interactions here were Megan against Rina. I’d love a singles match between them, maybe in next year’s Grand Prix. Rina and Konami found ways to chop down their opponents was fun and I appreciated Konami’s attempted submissions to do so. It gives New Sisters matches some variety. New Sisters also got some help from their HATE stablemates and Rina’s whip but Megan still scored a massive win when she hit the Wonder of Stardom Champion with the F5 in 13:59. A very strong main event. I’ve loved the booking of the Mega Skyscrapers so far. [***½]
