Pat McAfee Teases That He Will Have ‘Some Things To Say’ on This Week’s WWE SmackDown

As previously reported, Pat McAfee shocked the wrestling world with last week’s reveal of him as Randy Orton’s mystery caller on WWE SmackDown, and the duo attacked Cody Rhodes. So what’s next for the former NFL punter? During today’s edition of The Pat McAfee Show, he teased what’s next for him in WWE.

During his show, McAfee stated (via Fightful, “Friday night, live from San Jose, I think I got some things to say. We will have a good time there on SmackDown.” This confirms that McAfee will be appearing on Friday Night SmackDown this week, likely alongside his friend Randy Orton.

As noted, McAfee declared that he and Orton will be saving the wrestling business when Orton beats Rhodes for the WWE Undisputed Title at Wrestlemania 42. McAfee is so confident about an Orton victory that he’s promised he will never appear on wrestling TV again if Orton loses.

It remains to be seen what the controversial McAfee has planned for WWE SmackDown, which takes place on Friday, April 10 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California. The show will air live on USA Network starting at 8:00 pm ET.
