– Renee Young spoke with The Mirror for a new interview discussing her move to Raw commentary and more. Highlights are below:

On potentially becoming GM of Raw down the line: “I would love to do that. The way that I’m watching Paige navigate being the general manager of SmackDown, it looks like it it’s so much fun. Who gets to yell at Samoa Joe and kind of put a little bit of fear in his eyes? Not a lot of people get to do that. If that was an opportunity that came down my way, I would definitely wear that hat, that would be really, really fun.”

On not being on being on Total Divas anymore: “I don’t know if it was the best fit for me. I enjoyed doing it to a certain degree but I think just having cameras follow me around all day, I’m not charming enough for that! Ha ha. I think there are other people who can kind of step up and be really great on that show. I think the people who excel on Total Divas, I commend them, because it really is a lot of hard work, when you’re on the road as often as they are and having cameras follow you around and having cameras at home with you when you get home… it’s a lot, it really is a lot of work. So I give them a round of applause, definitely.”

On being married to Dean Ambrose: “You know, people know that we’re married, they’ll know I have a little bit more information than maybe Corey Graves does or Michael Cole does, but we’re trying not to beat them over the head [with it], you know? We don’t need to drill it home to people that he’s my husband. I’m figuring it out, it is really funny though and I can’t help but be a little bit of a homer when I’m calling his matches ha ha.”

On how Talking Smack prepared her for commentary: “Doing any of those shows makes you improve. That has been the thing that has helped me the most. That’s helped me with just kind of knowing what WWE expects from me, about how I’m able to – more free-form – talk about the company and our product in those environments. Now that I’m able to push that into commentary I’m hoping it will be smooth sailing.”
