Smackdown Rating Ticks Down, Viewership Rises For Superstar Shakeup

– The rating for the Superstar Shakeup episode of Smackdown was down slightly, while viewership edged upward. Last night’s episode brought in a 0.74 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.219 million viewers, down 5% and up 1% respectively from last week’s 0.78 demo rating and audience of 2.199 million. Both numbers were better than the 0.71 and 2.141 million from two weeks ago, the week before WrestleMania.

Smackdown, much like Raw this week, faced competition from the NBA Playoffs, which topped the night among cable originals per Showbuzz Daily. Smackdown came in at #3 for the night behind the two games (1.14 demo rating/2.594 million viewers and 0.90/2.239 million).
