Stephanie McMahon spoke with Megan Morant ahead of WWE Survivor Series and revealed that she will co-host John Cena’s final match along with Joe Tessitore. Stephanie told Megan that she expects the match to be an emotional experience for her.
“I’m actually co-hosting with Joe Tessitore,” she said (h/t Fightful). “I’m going to have to reign those emotions in a little bit.”
Cena’s final match will take place at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
It remains to be seen who his final opponent will be, though the semifinals of the Last Time is Now Tournament are set and will take place this Monday on RAW, with Solo Sikoa facing Gunther and Jey Uso taking on LA Knight. Those matches will take place on Monday’s WWE Raw.
The finals of the tournament will take place on Friday’s WWE SmackDown.
CM Punk recently predicted that Gunther would be Cena’s final opponent.
There has been some speculation about President Trump potentially attending Cena’s final match, though nothing has been confirmed.
