Stephen A. Smith has been a recipient of a curse from Danhausen, but he says he’s not scared about the matter. The ESPN host found himself cursed by the Very Nice, Very Evil one during an ESPN First Take segment ahead of WrestleMania 42. Danhausen’s curses have caused problems for a number of people in WWE, but Smith said in an appearance on Impaulsive that he’s not stressed about it.
“I ain’t worried about him,” Smith said (per Fightful). “That don’t scare me. What I’m worried about is that it will have an effect on my New York Knicks against the Atlanta Hawks. That’s what I’m worried about.”
He continued, “I’m not worried about me, but them dam Knicks don’t look the same. I’m very upset about it. I’m hoping he didn’t jinx them, but I’m not worried about him jinxing me.”
Danhausen made demands of Stephen A. Smith to lift the curse, but he refused. The Knicks, the #3 seed in the Eastern Conference in the NBA Playoffs, currently lead the Hawks three games to two.
