Swerve Strickland Says He Can’t Get Back to the AEW World Title With The Young Bucks in His Way

– During a recent interview with Knockouts and 3 Counts, AEW star and former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland discussed how he can’t get back to the world title without dealing with The Young Bucks. Below are some highlights (via Fightful):
“Honestly, it’s going to be a difficult one as long as the Young Bucks are involved with the EVPs titles. If it wasn’t for the Young Bucks, I probably would’ve pinned Jon Moxley at Dynasty to become the two-time AEW World Champion, which very few people have been able to do in AEW history. Back to the World Champion, for me, how the Young Bucks and EVPs feel about me, it’s not possible until they are taken care of and out of my way.”
At last month’s AEW Dynasty, The Young Bucks interfered in the main event, costing Swerve Strickland the AEW World Championship against Jon Moxley.
