Thunder Rosa says that she will continue to work with CMLL for the rest of the year, and is looking forward to it. As reported, the former AEW Women’s World Champion is set compete at CMLL’s 83rd Anniversary show this weekend and has expressed interest in a dual AEW & CMLL contract. It was noted today that she is expected to sign such a deal soon.

Rosa wrote a piece for RECORD and talked about her work with CMLL, noting that she will continue to do so throughout 2026.

“This collaboration is not just a visit,” she said (translation per Fightful’s Luis Pulido). “From Friday, April 3, I will be working with the CMLL and I am excited to know that this stage will continue for the rest of the year, presenting myself in different arenas of CMLL.”

She continued, “This implies a real commitment: Adapting to new opponents, to different audiences and to venues with a lot of history. From April 3 to 5, at Arena Coliseo, I want that intention to be felt from the first minute, that the emotion is authentic and that the connection with the fans is earned.”

Rosa challenged Thekla for the AEW Women’s World Championship on the March 4th episode of AEW Dynamite.
