Tommy Dreamer believes that Eddie Kingston is a great option to stand up against Jon Moxley and his alliance if he can make it back in time. Moxley has been dominating AEW, laying down beatings on the AEW roster alongside his new Blackpool Combat Club lineup-. Dreamer weighed in on who could be on the opposite side of that feud on a recent episode of Busted Open Radio and named Kingston.

“For where we’re at, Eddie Kingston is a great [potential savior],” Dreamer said (per Busted Open Radio). “Hopefully he could get back … Eddie Kingston is great if he’s able to go. Also, Sting. Sting can show back up, not be the wrestler, rally the troops and somebody is helping support them. Because I was thinking about using my examples before, Sting was part of two waves. He was part of fighting off The [Four] Horsemen. He was part of fighting off the nWo. He’s a major part of that. He could be like, ‘Guys, I’ve lived here before.'”

Kingston has been out of action with a tibular fracture suffered at NJPW Resurgence in May. Kingston has previously said he estimates he will be back around April or May.
