Tony Khan Says Second AEW WarnerMedia Show Is Still Happening in 2021
– As previously reported, AEW announced today the signing of former WWE World champion Paul Wight (aka Big Show) and a new YouTube show called AEW Dark: Elevation. The new YouTube series is set to stream on Mondays and will premiere in 2021. Later on, WrestlingInc.com’s Raj Giri commented on his belief via Twitter that with today’s announcement, it didn’t look like the second AEW on TNT TV series wasn’t happening anytime soon. AEW President Tony Khan later responded that the show is still happening later this year.
Tony Khan tweeted, “That’s also still happening in 2021! And we’ll have more info tonight on #AEWDynamite about the arrival of @PaulWight here in @AEW, and about the launch and details for #AEWDark: Elevation, which is coming very soon!”
The second AEW on TNT or WarnerMedia series was announced way back in January 2020. It’s not yet been given an official start date.
