– During this week’s edition of What Happened When, AEW broadcaster and former WWE broadcaster Tony Schiavone discussed whether or not he thinks Vince McMahon will try to re-enter wrestling later on. McMahon previously resigned from his post as Executive Chairman of the Board of TKO following a lawsuit being filed against him by former WWE Janel Grant alleging him of sexual assault and trafficking. Schiavone said the following on McMahon (via WrestlingInc.com):

“If he was in his 50s, maybe. I know you [Conrad] think we will. And of course, ego can drive people. But if I’m the age of Vince McMahon…what is he right now? 75? 76? And I’m a multi-billionaire, what the f*** do I want to do that s*** again for? Enjoy the remaining years of your life. I guess if you’ve got an ego that says you’ve got to work, or that you’ve got to be involved, I guess the remaining years of your life, enjoying the remaining years is working. But not for me dude.”

As noted, Janel Grant has paused her lawsuit against the 78-year-old Vince McMahon, WWE, and former WWE executive John Laurinaitis pending the completion of a non-public federal investigation. McMahon is also under federal investigation for the allegations.
