Update On LA Knight’s WWE Status, How Long He’s Signed For

LA Knight’s standing in WWE was questioned by some fans after his assault on this week’s Raw, and a new report has shot down the notion that his status is in question. As noted, the popular WWE star was beat down by The Vision to close Monday night’s episode of Raw.

Fightful Select has confirmed that Knight isn’t going anywhere. The WWE star signed a new WWE deal last year and has a number of years left on his deal. People in WWE said they were “confused” over the reaction online to the beatdown. They noted it was a story moment that will be revisited.

WWE has also repeatedly asserted that Knight has not faced any heat or punishment for the Jey Uso sign. One person in creative noted that it would be a “weird punishment” to book Knight to beat Jey Uso in that moment.
