Note on Why Robert Roode is in Detroit for WWE Summerslam

It was reported yesterday that Robert Roode is in Detroit for this weekend’s WWE Summerslam event. Roode has been out of action since June of last year, as he had two neck fusion surgeries (one in November, one in May 2023).

PWInsider reports that Roode will be working the PPV event as a producer. He will also be joining the RAW brand in that role.
