WWE Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia got off to a bit of a controversial start on Saturday. Sophie Foster sang the U.S. and Australian national anthems, but the crowd booed the U.S. national anthem. The boos were loud and noticeable. This continues a trend of international fans booing the U.S. national anthem, as the same thing happened at WWE Elimination Chamber in Toronto, Canada earlier this year with the Canadian crowd booing the U.S. national anthem.
Video of the crowd booing the U.S. national anthem is below.

Crown Jewel saw John Cena defeat AJ Styles. Cena only has four more remaining dates in his WWE career, including Survivor Series: WarGames and Saturday Night’s Main Event. His last match will take place at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, December 13 at the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C. Meanwhile, AJ Styles recently confirmed his plan to retire next year.
Also on the show, Seth Rollins defeated Cody Rhodes. Rollins finally managed to exorcise an old demon, with his three previous singles losses against Rhodes at WWE premium live events, and picked up the pinfall victory at the event in Perth, Australia.
