WWE Raw Rating Takes a Hit, Viewership Down
– The rating for this week’s episode of Raw took a hefty drop, as did the viewership. Monday’s episode brought in a 1.05 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 3.104 million viewers, down 21% and 14% from last week’s Superstar Shakeup episode. The demo rating was the lowest for Raw since the February 12th episode had a 1.03 rating, while the audience was the worst since the February 5th episode’s 3.055 million.
Raw was up against only somewhat stronger competition this week than last, ranking #3 among cable originals per Showbuzz Daily. The NBA Playoff games on TNT won the top two slots at a 1.64 demo rating/3.874 million viewers and 1.39/3.494 million. These are just slightly up from last week’s Playoff games (1.54 rating/3.653 million viewers, 1.38/3.426 million).
