WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has a report on a new promotional crossover effort that’s in the works for WWE. According to the report, a licensing agreement is in the works for the Major League Baseball (MLB) team, the San Francisco Giants, and WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso.
The licensing agreement would reportedly include some crossover merchandise for Jimmy Uso. WWE has done similar crossover sports team collaborations in the past.
Additionally, it was also hinted at by WrestleVotes Radio that the crossover could be integrated into Jimmy Uso’s ring gear as well. WrestleVotes Radio noted that while the relationship still exists, WWE held off the deal due to Survivor Series 2025 being held at PETCO Park in San Diego, which is the home of the Padres, the NL West rivals of the San Francisco Giants.
During his match at Survivor Series: WarGames, John Cena also wore some San Diego Padres-inspired attire. At the premium live event, he lost his Intercontinental Championship to Dominik Mysterio.
Jimmy Uso was also in action at WWE Survivor Series last weekend, competing in the men’s WarGames match. He teamed with his brother, Jey Uso, WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk, and Roman Reigns. They lost the matchup against the heel team of Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, Brock Lesnar, Logan Paul, and Drew McIntyre.
