WWE continues to expand their relationship with Saudi Arabia, as they are set to increase the number of Premium Live Events in the country in 2026. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that in addition to the WWE Royal Rumble in Riyadh on January 31st, 2026, WWE will now also be holding two other PLEs in Saudi Arabia in 2026.

Dave Meltzer noted that WWE has been paid $55 million per PLE held in Saudi Arabia since they started their deal with the country back in 2018, with Saudi Arabia paying considerably more than that amount for the Royal Rumble.

WWE held only one PLE in Saudi Arabia in 2025, Night of Champions headlined by John Cena vs. CM Punk and Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton. WWE Crown Jewel, which is usually held in Saudi Arabia, took place in Perth, Australia this year.

It remains to be seen if the additional two 2026 PLEs in Saudi Arabia are Crown Jewel and Night of Champions, or something else.

Of course, WWE has also announced that WrestleMania 43 in 2027 will also take place in Saudi Arabia and there have been rumors that WWE could eventually move WrestleMania to Saudi Arabia permanently. WWE’s increasingly close ties to Saudi Arabia have sparked some concern among fans.
