At last night’s WWE NXT TV, former NXT Women’s North American Champion Sol Ruca announced her injury. At NXT Halloween Havoc, it will now be Zaria against Blake Monroe, with Zaria defending Sol Ruca’s title on her tag team partner’s behalf. In a post on her social media, Zaria reflected on today being the one-year anniversary of her WWE debut (see below).

Zaria wrote of her WWE debut one year ago, “1 Year ago today I debuted in WWE. It’s gone by so quickly that it all feels like a dream.” She continued, “I’ve accomplished more than I thought I would in just a year. Iron Survivor, ladder match at Stand and Deliver, tag championship match at Evolution, debuting on SmackDown, and now I get to have my first singles championship match at Halloween Havoc.”

She expressed how she still views the singles partner as belonging to her tag team partner, Sol Ruca. The wrestler added, “A championship that belongs to my partner. Someone that has played such a big role in my growth this past year. The friendship that was so unexpected, yet the bond is unbreakable.”

Zaria noted how much this moment means to her. She went on, “Stepping into a WWE ring for the first time at Halloween Havoc was such a definitive moment for me, and now defending the NA Championship for Sol is a definitive moment for ZaRuca. This moment means everything to me. I won’t let you down ❤️💙”

Zaria previously made her WWE NXT debut on the October 22, 2024 edition of NXT TV. Zaria and Zol Ruca previously competed for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles on last week’s Friday Night SmackDown in a losing effort against reigning WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.

Zaria vs. Blake Monroe for Sol Ruca’s NXT Women’s North American Title goes down this Saturday, October 25 at WWE NXT Halloween Havoc. The premium live event takes place at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott, Arizona. It will air live on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
