Jeff Jarrett In Talks To Return To TNA
According to John Pollock of Live Audio Wrestling, Anthem Sports & Entertainment, which is the parent company of the LAW and the company now funding TNA, has had meetings with Jeff Jarrett about a potential return.
Pwinsider reports that talks started last Monday. Jarrett met with Anthem’s Ed Nordholm, who is now overseeing the day-to-day operations of TNA. Nordholm wanted the meeting so that he could get more of a background on TNA and different aspects of how the company operated over different time periods. There is no agreement in place for Jarrett to return at this time.
Pwinsider adds that says that if Jarrett returns, the Global Force Wrestling promotion would still be an active, viable component of any relationship that comes out of the discussions. Jarrett has no plans to abandon the project. Pwinsider speculates that GFW could be part of a company rebranding by TNA. TNA is looking to replace Dave Lagana, who resigned last month, and that may be a slot that Jarrett and possibly Scott D’Amore could return in.
While not mentioned in this report, there have been reports in the past that The Fight Network is looking to add more content. Maybe this is where the unseen Global Force Wrestling pilots could end up.
