– Former WWE Superstar Kenn Doane, aka Kenny Dykstra of The Spirit Squad, has officially announced his retirement from his in-ring career for professional wrestling. You can view the tweet he shared below. Doane stated the following:

“I’ve decided to retire from in ring wrestling. When I started at 13 I thought I’d retire at 40. But smart investments overtime have allowed me to be done now. I’m in my prime, and that will go towards my family and being a father. Thanks to the fans who stuck by me.”

Kenn Doane signed with WWE under a developmental contract in 2004. He was most prominently part of the Spirit Squad faction from 2005 to 2006, and they would later go on to hold the WWE World tag team titles. He was later released from WWE in 2008. More recently, he worked with MLW back in 2019.
