Kenny Omega Leaves DDT – Signs With New Japan Pro Wrestling
– According to puroresushop.com, Kenny Omega is leaving DDT and has signed a deal with new Japan Pro Wrestling. He will finish up with DDT in October on the 26th. Omega stated the following about the choice to go to New Japan at today’s press conference…
“I’ve wrestled on the NJPW ring numerous times, only as a guest though. Now I can finally work in this promotion with confidence. I can test my strength every year in BOSJ. After this year’s BOSJ, I felt that I could do much better. And that’s what brought me to signing with NJPW. I feel that NJPW has one of the best rosters not only domestically, but also at the global level. Both Japanese wrestlers and foreign wrestlers are top-class. And I want to prove that I’m a top-class wrestler as well. This is a new start for me, and I want to work hard to meet the expectations of the fans. At the same time, it’s really tough for me to leave DDT. I will miss them. Still, I feel that I’m at the peak of my career as an athlete, and I may regret later if I don’t push myself to the limit now. I’m looking forward to my new start.”
