January 26, 2015 | Posted by
– As previously reported, there was a lot of backlash for last night’s WWE Royal Rumble PPV. The live crowd was vocally against the Rumble match once Daniel Bryan got eliminated, and then #CancelWWENetwork was trending on twitter.
Mainstream media has also picked up the story. Time Magazine looks at the story and calls it the latest setback for the WWE Network. USA Today focused on the fan outrage for the event. Finally, Fox Sports stated that not even The Rock was able to offset the negative reaction to Reigns winning the Rumble.
