Rumor on Possible WWE Cruiserweight Classic Winner

– Take this with a heavy grain of salt folks, as of course nothing is confirmed and the use of the term “rumors” is always suspect. But Wrestling Inc reports that “internal rumors” in WWE point to the possibility of TJ Perkins winning the Cruiserweight Classic tonight.

Perkins faces Kota Ibushi in the semifinals and, if he wins, goes on to face the winner of the Gran Metalik vs. Zack Sabre, Jr. match in the finals.
